 Management Consultant (Process, Change, RUP) - London

 

Experienced Management Consultant with vast experience in Process, Change & RUP methods urgently required by leading FTSE100 organisation in London.

 

My client is currently going through a period of exciting and challenging change and currently has over 100+ Business Change, IT & Regulatory Projects totalling over £100m in capital expenditure. Working closely with the Head of Programme Delivery and the CIO, the Management Consultant (Process) will be responsible for a establishing the development and maintenance of the companies methodologies for applications design and development, primarily using IBM Rational Method Composer.

 

Core Responsibilities:

· The development and maintenance of standard documentation templates based on RUP for use on projects

· Providing guidance and coaching to projects to ensure the most appropriate RUP-based methodology is selected for their needs and configuring the methodology as required for specific projects

· Collaborating with other elements within the Design, Delivery and Integration function and with all other IS functions, with the objective of delivering successful and predictable outcomes for projects they are assigned to.

· Working with distributed software development teams including external suppliers in multiple geographies to deliver correct process

 

Key Experience Required:

· Experiences as the lead process engineer for software development projects

· Worked and delivered on large projects of greater than £5M budgets and ideally on projects using the RUP methodology.

· Experience in implementing a standardised applications development methodology, preferably in a large organisation

· Experience in tailoring and establishing an iterative/agile approach with offshore and external suppliers from waterfall

· Management of stakeholder/change management teams
