IT Operations Engineer

Are you an experienced Support Engineer? Do you have a desire to keep up to date with the latest products and Internet technologies?
Our client is the leading broadcast entertainment company and is looking for a number of ITSupport Engineers who have experience working within a media organisation with a good understanding of Video on Demand (VOD) / Connected TV / Mobile TV.
You will act as 1st / 2nd / 3rd line support for a large number of IT systems, supporting everything from printers through to AD.
You must have the ability to communicate and support the development team in their requirements; An understanding of how web pages are served, end to end is essential with second to none analytical and trouble shooting skills.
You must be experienced in supporting a Windows Server enterprise – (Exchange, AD, IIS, IP, DNS) with a strong understanding of IIS 7 / 7.5, ISA, SAN technologies and implementation, Windows Failover Clustering and the monitoring of web sites and windows servers / services.
Excellent communication skills are crucial. You must be able to communicate on both a technical and non technical level within various departments in the organisation and be dedicated in keeping up to date with the latest technologies.
Please note that we are looking for engineers that are willing to act as the on-call support engineer as part of a 24/7 team rotation if required (this is compensated).
