One of the fastest expanding Digital Media organisations, based in Surrey, is urgently looking for a creative Web Developer to work on the design and development of cutting edge websites.
The Role:
Working within a growing web development team, first & foremost, you need to be passionate about front end web development and User Experience (UX). You will work on large scale transactional e-commerce sites which are visited by thousands of customers every day, and your core responsibilities will include: Building of web pages and templates from pre-designed image mockups; ensure the stability of websites consistent coding styles and methods; develop accessible, standards-compliant web pages; and review image mockups with UI designers to resolve potential coding issues.
The Person:
You will be passionate about your code and you have a strong portfolio of work to demonstrate your exp & suitability towards this position and have experience/knowledge of how to enable a web application for cross-browser compatibility. Essential technical skills for the Web developer must include; UI & front end coding, strong JavaScript coding, CSS, HTML, XSLT, XHTML, AJAX, W3C and ideally an awareness of test driven development (Ant, JUnit, Continuous Integration).
