An excellent opportunity currently exists for an experienced Perl Analyst/Developer for Merseyside based software house that has seen turnover double in the last 12 months.
Working as part of a growing high-energy, results-driven team with a proven track record of success, you will be responsible for leading the development and ongoing support of bespoke client development projects written in Perl and MYSQL. You will also be involved in developing and implementing good development practice as well as improving the efficiency, scalability, and stability of applications
We are looking for an experience Developer with the ability to hit the ground running and one who can work on his own and/or within a team. With experience working across the full development lifecycle, the successful developer will offer experience in the following technologies: PERL5 (5.6/5.8); MySQL; HTML; CSS; JavaScript; Linux; Apache. You will have sound knowledge of object oriented programming and design patterns and even more importantly possess fantastic communication skills with the ability to converse with Customers and IT departments.
