Senior Project Manager - Reference Data / Data Warehousing - Investment Banking, London. Our IB client is "one to watch" and is very much a greenfield environment at present which offers huge opportunities in itself. Due to current expansion plans in place, a Senior Project Manager is urgently required within the Reference Data Strategic Group, who are responsible for the end to end delivery of Reference Data Metrics, Query Management, Reference Data Entitlements and IB Document Management Programmes.
The Role:
Working within the newly created Group Enterprise Data function and reporting into the Group CIO, the successful Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of reference & transactional data projects across front, middle and back office environments. Core responsibilities will cover (but not limited to): Implementation of data warehouses; Man management including selection, strategy and mentoring; budget management; selecting & managing third party vendors; and stakeholder management.
The Person:
Currently working within an enterprise data / data warehousing environment for a leading asset management / investment bank, you will be a superb project manager with a highly successful track record of success. Your experience / expertise should cover the following key attributes:
· Management of complex data warehouse, data projects with delivery budgets in excess of £5m
· Instigating change and seeing this through
· Knowledge and/or experience of WebFocus, Eagle Pace, Vermillion or GoldenSource
· Management of teams across multiple locations and timezones
· Communicating, influencing and building relationships across all functions/levels (including CxO)
